Growing up, I was always drawn towards physical activities and learning about opportunities for self-growth. However, the importance of the mind-body connection fully clicked for me in college after experiencing burnout and trying to recreate joy in my life. I know from first hand experience how much of a difference one positive habit can have on the rest one's life. There are often negative aspects of our lives that leave us feeling dragged down, but that we can't eliminate or change. Regardless of one's circumstances, there are always opportunities to create a sense of groundedness and delight in life.
